Here they are! Not THE 12 Olympian gods, but 10 of them plus Hades.

This was for my Design for Illustration class. The project was symbols. I chose the Greek Gods. :]

They're in this order because it looked the best.

I think they'd be cool as fact cards.

In case you have NO idea who they are:
Poseidon Zeus Hera Apollo Ares
Athena Artemis Hades Hephaestus Hermes

I chose to go with a 2 color...color scheme because it looked the nicest.

The animals behind them are their sacred animals. Now, I KNOW some of them don't make sense, but hey, I'M not the Ancient Greeks. I didn't make the rules or myths. I just follow them.

EDIT: Now, I'm not saying that I don't appreciate comments, but really? I don't really care if you think that Ares' animal should be a boar or that Apollo's animal should be raven. I chose what I did because every god has a mile long LIST of animals that are sacred to them. I chose a vulture because I didn't want to draw a boar, and I chose a dolphin because I didn't want 3849723849 birds in the piece. I did what I wanted and that's that, ok?

so just demeter and dionysus are left out? what animal would you pick for those two?

NICE drawing!!! I love Greek mythology (my fav. Olympian deity is Artemis), and I'm lovin' here your realistic drawing style fused with creative clothing designs.

I love this work; the colors, the form, the animals. Overall, great job! ^^

However, isn't Hades a non-Olympian? :/

can i use ur picture for my essay? It is about the 12 olympian gods. i need to show pictures of the gods. I would love to use yours since they are so great and what i was searching for. i would separate them and paste them into my essay. of course i will give credits to you.
